Amelie's 2nd B-day and Genevieve's Baptismal party!

I iced and decorated this cake in just 40 minutes!!! Even if you scale it down to it's size and design, I felt like I was in Food Network Challenge, they've got 8 hours....I've got 40 minutes to finish a cake!!!

It's a long story why I only had 40 minutes to work on this one.

In the background is my famous cheesecake...for Genevieve's baptismal.

I made this last week for a very special girl, Aliyaah.

At barely 5 years old, Aliyaah knew what she wanted "a disco cake!!!" was what she requested from her mom months before she turned 5!

Everything here is edible except for the cut out disco dancing people ans the mirror ball, of course.

This is a 2 tiered chocolate cake with buttercream filling in the middle and I used rolled fondant for a perfect finish. A cake fit for a Disco Queen...in her case, a Disco Princess!

My mom was here for a short visit....

she wanted to celebrate her birthday with her family here in Canada. We gave her a suprise party and I made her her favourite cake.....ube cake with no-melt butter icing!!!
