Leslie's Debut Cake

This was the first time I made a debutant's cake made out of 100 cupcakes.....whew! It was a lot of work. Although the design is not as intricate as some wedding and debut cakes that I've made, this one took me longer to finish as I had to ice and decorate all the cupcakes individually!

But it's all worth it when I saw the delight on Leslie's face when she saw that she got what she wanted...a less traditional debutant's cake!
